Shakun Kumar is a strategic Human Capital Leader with over two decades of experience helping organisations strengthen compliance, improve workforce performance and align people strategy with business growth.

Shakun has held roles up to Group HR General Manager level, working with companies from diverse industries. She brings both boardroom strategy and ground-level execution to every engagement.

Armed with an LLB (Hons), Shakun's approach to HR is deeply grounded in Malaysian employment law — making her a rare combination of strategist, practitioner, and legal mind.

Her belief is simple: HR should solve problems proactively, not create paperwork.

She founded SKD Consultancy to give Malaysian SMEs access to senior-level HR expertise without the full-time cost — and to build a community where HR professionals at every level can grow with confidence.
